This raster dataset has been created using the 'Pennsylvania Natural Diversity Inventory' and 'Natural Areas Inventory' for each county in the study area as originated by The Nature Conservancy. Conservation values were determined by SmartConservationTM methodology. The data set was created through SmartConservation methodology using conservation values determined by experts gathered by Natural Lands Trust. This data set is the one input into the Rarity Group for the Expanded Piedmont of Pennsylvania. It is one of three groups used to create an overall Conservation Resources data set. Conservation value ranges from 1 - 10 with 10 being the highest value.
