The titel cartouche is crowned by Atlas supporting the Earth, framed by banners. The titel cartouche also includes a barrell and tools in barrell making. The inscription indicating this map was sold by Tavernier in Paris has been removed but is still visible. This state was published in Jan Jansson's Appendix Novi Atlantis in 1637.
