Description:
CUGIR, the Cornell University Geospatial Information Repository, using US Department of Commerce, Bureau of the Census data, developed the GIS data set versions of 2000 Census TIGER/Line files for 12 coverages for each of the 62 counties in New York State. These files were developed to enable a user to see the geographic component from the 2000 Census. They can be used to join demographic data from the 2000 census for use in a geographic information system.
