This data set shows locations of urban centers as defined in the Snohomish County General Policy Plan. The purpose of the urban centers demonstration program is to encourage innovative, well designed, well sited, mixed-use, higher density development to be located within or next to designated urban centers through a range of development approaches which allow for modification of the established County site requirements and development and infrastructure standards.For additional information about Urban Centers see the PDS web site, or the Snohomish County Code, section 30.34a.Derivative data is routinely refreshed as the master data set is updated.
