The data has been taken from the Indian Meterological Department Climatological tables of Observatories in India (1931 - 1960). A Government of India publication. This publication has not been updated by the Indian Meterological Department.Climatological standard normals are averages of climatological data computed for consecutive period of thirty years each starting with the 1st of January 1901, 1st January 1931 etc. This data is for the period between 1931 and 1960.Period average are averages of climatological data computed for any period of at least ten years starting on the 1st January of a year ending with digit 1. Period averages are taken where everstandard normals are not available.
