Shows residences, temples, palaces, battle sites, siege sites, and the holdings of the English, French, Portuguese, Danish and Dutch. Relief shown pictorially. Extracted from The London magazine. "Printed for R. Baldwin in Pater Noster Row, 1754"--Lower margin. "For the Lond. Mag."--Upper margin. Includes key, decorative cartouche. Probably engraved by Thomas Kitchin, who engraved over 150 maps for the London magazine between 1747 and 1783. cf. Worms, L. British map engravers.
