Depth curves and soundings in feet- datum is mean low water. Shoreline shown represeants the apporoximate line of mean high water. The mean range of tide is 4 feet. "Mapped by the Army Map Service; Edited and published by the United States Geological Survey. Control by USC&GS, USCE, and New Jersey Geodetic Survey. Culture and drainage in part compiled from aerial photographs taken 1941. Field check 1943. Culture revised by the Geological Survey 1954."
